The first time I came to know about this woman and her amazing vocal abilities was when she featured on Avant's "My First Love" taken off his album titled "My Thoughts". I was bowled over by the way she holds t down.Unbelievable is her third studio album, and in it she features Kelly Price and Tweet on "Mirror" where she sings about not going back to a man who ill treats her. And she sings about how "Unbelievable" the new man in her life is, seeing that shes been a victim of abuse from her previous marriage and she sings about that in "Enough". In "Love Under New Management" she goes on to emphasize her new relationship and showcases her amazing voice. She goes sensual and sexual on "Tap Out" singing about banging headboards...naughty girl this Keke person, hehehehe!!! "Saturday Love" is a remake of the 1985 hit by Cherrelle & Alexander O'Neal, in which she features Ruben Studdard.
And I have to say that "Miss Your Plane" is a classic love song about wanting her man to stay over longer. The opening line of "Travel The World(Love uses time up)" is "Why does this happens to girls like me again and again and again/Why can't it be real love, real love" and the chorus goes like this "I could have travelled the world/But I was somebody's girl/Because I thought it was real/Thats how love uses time up".....Im sure this song would resonate with a lot of sistas. She closes up with her version of Eric Claptons "Tears In Heaven" and does amazing job with an accapella version of the gospel song "His Eye Is On The Sparrow".
