Columnist and Social Butterfly Gwen Gill passes away

I have fond memories of my mother reading the Sunday Times to me, before I could read. And I remember when I could read all on my own, I would read the cartoons first and the social pages after, you know saving-the-best-for-last type thing. Seeing the fashion, the people and the high life through the pictures and the words written by Gwen Gill used to fascinate me and i'd often say to myself "One day is one day" . She used to diss people about their fashion sense and always maintained she writes what most people are afraid to. Nothing wrong there.....

Gwen passed away yesterday, she has been ill for a while after suffering a stroke...
